Zhata's 'Zukunftspunkts' Education Complex Set to Open in 2026
The 'Zukunftspunkts' education complex in Zhata is set to open in 2026, marking a significant milestone in the region's development. The complex, part of the Zhataisky Shipyard modernization program, aims to create a modern river fleet for cargo transportation in the Lena basin and the Arctic zone, including the Northern Sea Route.
Currently, the construction of the 'Future Point' educational complex is well underway in Zhata. Water supply and disposal networks are over 90% complete, and water has already been supplied. The construction is funded by private investments from the 'New Home' Charitable Foundation.
Recently, Dmitry Sadovnikov, First Deputy Chairman of the Yakutian government, inspected the construction of social facilities in Zhatai. He noted the progress of the 200-bed dormitory for Zhataisky Shipyard employees, which is over 80% complete and on track to finish by the end of the year. The dormitory's construction is a key part of the modernization program, providing accommodation for employees supporting the new fleet.
The 'Future Point' educational complex is scheduled to be completed by the end of October, paving the way for its opening in 2026. This complex, along with the 200-bed dormitory, will significantly enhance the infrastructure and living conditions in Zhata, supporting the growth of the Zhataisky Shipyard and its role in the region's cargo transportation network.
