University selects Bradford Peace as the new head of Residence Life and Education at Park University.
Bradford Peace Appointed as Director of Residence Life and Education at Park University's Parkville Campus
Bradford Peace, a renowned figure in the field of residence life and education, has been appointed as the Director of Residence Life and Education at Park University’s flagship Parkville Campus, effective from July 22, 2025.
Peace's career progression has been marked by multiple awards from the Great Lakes Association of College and University Housing Officers. In 2019, he was named Outstanding Graduate Practitioner, a testament to his contributions to the field in both professional practice and scholarship. The following year, he received the Outstanding Entry-Level Professional award for Indiana. In 2022, he co-authored the Trends Article of the Year, further solidifying his influence in the industry.
Peace's journey in college housing leadership began at Ball State University in 2018. He served the university in various roles, including as a graduate coordinator for student leadership and a residential learning coordinator. From July 2023 to the present, he has served as a residential area coordinator.
Peace holds three master's degrees from Ball State University: Master of Business Administration in finance, Master of Arts in sport administration, and Master of Arts in student affairs administration in higher education. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree in higher education from Ball State University and anticipates completion in 2027.
In his new role, Peace will manage all residential buildings on the Parkville Campus, including live-in paraprofessional and student staff, housing assignments, student housing accounts, maintenance/facility needs, summer conferences/events, and related budgets. He will also provide oversight of Residence Hall Council operations and graduate advisors.
Peace will work closely with faculty and staff to develop and administer high-impact programs and services for Parkville residential students. He will supervise resident directors and resident assistants at Park University.
Peace's appointment is a significant step for Park University, bringing aboard a seasoned professional with a proven track record in residence life and education. His expertise and dedication are expected to greatly contribute to the university's residential life programs and the overall student experience.
