UNIVERSITY COLLABORATION: UNISZA AND UAF WORK TOGETHER TO STRENGTHEN TIES
Universality of Alaska Fairbanks and Malaysian University ink Memorandum of Understanding
Faisalabad's University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) has teamed up with Malaysia's University Sultan Zainal Abidin (UNISZA), sealing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). An eight-person delegation from UNISZA visited UAF, with discussions focusing on potential R&D collaborations with UAF. The visit was headed by Dr Nornasuha BintYusoff, who paid a visit to UAF's Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Zulfiqar Ali.
According to the Vice Chancellor, this partnership will be beneficial in learning from each other's experiences and tackling shared issues. He notes Malaysia's growing reputation in industrial development and education on a global scale. He suggests that this alliance will propel both universities forward in the realm of education and research.
UAF, in conjunction with the Malaysian High Commission, Islamabad, routinely holds seminars each year to examine R&D and business opportunities between the two nations, further enhancing existing ties.
