The Musikhochschule Lübeck (MHL) is set to present a unique end-of-semester event, the "MHL Sports Studio" revue film, on July 31st at 7 PM at Strandkino Niendorf. This film is a result of a collaboration with Timmendorfer Strand Niendorf Tourismus GmbH.

The "MHL Sports Studio" is an interdisciplinary project that is a significant part of the "Music Vermitteln" program. A group of six students, supervised by Bernd Ruf, worked tirelessly for two years, preparing the script, directing, and producing the film. After many hours of work in MHL's sound studio and video editing suites, the film is now ready to be presented, thanks to COVID-19 restrictions.

Filming for "MHL Sports Studio" began in March at the Gollan Kulturwerft and involved complex lighting, sound, and video recordings. Other locations in Lübeck, such as the Holstentor and the Travemünde Bridge Garden, were also used for filming.

The Musikhochschule Lübeck's address is Große Petersgrube 21, 23552 Lübeck. For more information, visit their website at www.mh-luebeck.de. The MHL's YouTube channel is Musikhochschule Lübeck, and they can be found on Facebook (MusikhocchschuleLuebeck) and Instagram (mhluebeck).

The Pop Festival, hosted by the Pop Music students of MHL, will take place from July 2nd to 4th. The festival will kick off with the premiere of the "MHL Sports Studio" film on July 2nd at 8 PM, streamed on the MHL's streaming channel.

The film will feature musical reporting and interpretations of legendary sports songs, including "Eye of the Tiger", "Walk This Way", "Bye Bye Bye", "Baby One More Time", "Bicycle Race", "Flashdance...What a Feeling", "One Moment In Time", and "Musical Chess". Hilko Engberts and Sarah Sieprath will host the "MHL Sports Studio" show, guiding the audience through major sporting events of 2021.

Admission to the screenings of "MHL Sports Studio" is free. For more details about the event, visit www.timmendorfer-strand.de. The MHL Pop Band will perform live before and after the 80-minute "MHL Sports Studio" film, making it a night of unforgettable entertainment. Don't miss out on this exciting event!
