Son's school shooting plot allegedly aided by mother, claimed as reward for babysitting, according to recent revelations of startling information

In Bexar County, Texas, Ashley Pardo, a local resident, is facing multiple charges related to a foiled school shooting plot at Rhodes Middle School in San Antonio. Her teenage son is also in custody, facing similar charges.

The plot was uncovered when authorities arrested the teen off-campus, following a search of the family's home that revealed disturbing findings. Evidence included a live bullet being hit with a hammer, images of the shooting plot, and white supremacist slogans and symbols.

Ashley Pardo has been charged with aiding in the commission of terrorism, endangering a child with criminal negligence, and a felony weapons charge. She is also expected to face additional charges. After her arrest, Pardo was ordered to have no contact with her children, wear an ankle monitor if released from jail, and not to own firearms or drink alcohol.

The teen's fascination with white supremacist mass shooters is believed to have influenced the plot against Rhodes Middle School. Authorities claim that Pardo purchased items such as ammunition, tactical gear, and loaded magazines to aid her son in the plot.

The teen was found wearing a mask, tactical pants, and a camouflage jacket on May 12, causing the school to alert the police. He was later allowed back on campus on May 8 after spending time at an alternative programme.

Investigations revealed that the teen had drawn maps of his school, one of which was marked 'suicide route.' Authorities also found violent drawings in the boy's possession, including maps of the school.

Despite the findings, San Antonio Police Chief William McManus stated that Pardo showed no guilt for the charges she faces. Pardo's next hearing is set for August 7.

This case is a recent instance in Bexar County involving charges of aiding in the commission of terrorism, specifically connected to the prevention of a planned school shooting. The public sources primarily focus on the plot's foiling, the charges against Ashley Pardo and her son, and subsequent legal actions.
