Six New Apprentices Start Journey in Greifswald City Administration
Six young adults embarked on their apprenticeships today at the University and Hanseatic City of Greifswald. Following a rigorous selection process, they were chosen from a pool of 46 applicants. Mayor Dr. Stefan Fassbinder, along with trainers and the works council chairperson, greeted the new recruits.
Among the apprentices are two men and one woman starting their journey as administrative professionals. Additionally, one man will train as a street sweeper, another as a gardener, and a second woman will specialise in media and information services at the City Library. During their apprenticeship, they will explore diverse areas such as personnel, construction, environment, sustainability, schools, culture, and social affairs. Upon completion, they can look forward to secure employment and a promising professional future.
