Samsung's 'Solve for Tomorrow' 2025-2026 Competition Launches, Focusing on AI for Social Impact

Samsung Electronics HK. Co. Ltd. has launched the annual inter-school technology competition, Solve for Tomorrow 2025-2026. The event welcomes teams from primary schools, secondary schools, and tertiary institutions, offering generous prizes and awards. It aims to inspire young generations to harness AI for a better society.

The competition, organized by Samsung, co-organized by the Association of I.T. Leaders in Education, and supported by the Education Bureau and Hong Kong Education City, follows a three-stage format: Preliminary Round, Semi-Final Round, and Final Round. It focuses on two key topics: 'Environmental Sustainability via Technology' and 'Social Change through Sport & Tech'.

Teams are challenged to create innovative solutions using AI and other technologies. A total of 18 winning teams will be selected based on criteria including creativity, quality, impact, and bonus points for social media engagement. The total prize value exceeds HKD 300,000. Ms. Yiyin Zhao, Managing Director of Samsung Electronics HK. Co. Ltd., stated that the competition aims to inspire young generations to use technology for positive social and environmental change.
