In a heartwarming event, PINDL high school organized its third charity run during their summer festival, raising an impressive sum of €15,122 for the St. Martin Children's Center. The funds were handed over in a formal ceremony attended by various dignitaries and supporters.

The St. Martin Children's Center, which is supported by the Catholic Youth Welfare of the Diocese of Regensburg, will greatly benefit from this generous donation. The charity run, held at the RT grounds in Regensburg, saw over 500 young participants, many of whom were motivated by athletes such as Aleandro Angaran of the Regensburg Ice Bears, Jason Taylor of Regensburg Phoenix, and Chikara Igami of the Guggenberger Legionaries.

Armin Wolf, organizer of the Regensburger Christmas Singing, hosted the charity run and his running team helped with warm-up and along the route. Principal Bernd Ackermann and Detlef Ammon, CEO of Pindl GmbH, were also present at the donation handover.

Each lap completed during the charity run earned a fixed amount of money from sponsors. The event was not just a physical challenge, but a testament to the spirit of giving and community involvement.

The charity run was divided into two groups, with many teachers and the sports department involved in its planning and execution. The formal donation handover took place on July 29, with Dr. Astrid Lamby, the administrative director of the St. Martin Children's Center, expressing her deep appreciation for the amount of the donation. Dr. Astrid Freudenstein, the city's social and sports mayor, gave the official starting signal for the charity run.

While specific details about the amount donated and the recipient St. Martin Children's Center were not found in the available search results, the event underscores the generosity and commitment of PINDL high school and its community towards supporting local charities.

The St. Martin Children's Center, with its focus on providing education-and-self-development opportunities for children, will tremendously benefit from this donation collected during the charity run. Other than raising funds, the charity run was also an opportunity for learning, as many young participants were inspired by accomplished athletes such as Aleandro Angaran, Jason Taylor, and Chikara Igami.
