Rajasthan SI Exam Syllabus for 2025: Examination Structure, Topics Per Subject, and PDF Download Access
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has unveiled the detailed syllabus for the Sub-Inspector (SI) and Platoon Commander exam, scheduled for 2025. The exam consists of two papers: Paper I (General Hindi) and Paper II (General Knowledge and General Science). Each paper carries 100 questions, totaling 200 marks, and lasts for 2 hours.
**Paper I: General Hindi**
This paper assesses candidates' Hindi language skills, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, and comprehension. The main topics are word formation, types of words, synonyms, antonyms, contextual usage, sentence formation, sentence correction, punctuation, idioms, and grammar categories.
**Paper II: General Knowledge and General Science**
This paper evaluates candidates' awareness of current affairs, Indian and Rajasthan-specific history, geography, constitution, economic and social development, science and technology, and reasoning ability. Key topics include Indian History and Culture, Geography of Rajasthan and India, Indian Constitution and Polity, Current Affairs and General Awareness, Economic and Social Development National and State Level, General Science and Technology, and Reasoning Ability.
Negative marking applies: one-third of the marks assigned to a question are deducted for a wrong answer. The syllabus for both papers can be downloaded from the official website of RPSC, police.rajasthan.gov.in.
