Rachel-Carson-Gymnasium Named 'Digital School' for Three Years

Rachel-Carson-Gymnasium in Dormagen has been officially recognised as a 'Digital School'. The award, valid for three years, highlights the school's exceptional commitment to promoting digital competencies and MINT education.

The honour comes after the school's significant investment in digital equipment and the dedication of Mrs. Elisabeth Klein, who played a crucial role in the digitisation process. Klein, with the support of deputy headmaster Andrea Leven, submitted the application for the award.

Mayor Erik Lierenfeld congratulated the school, emphasising the importance of supporting educational institutions in their digital transformation. The school is now one of the 236 in North Rhine-Westphalia to receive this prestigious recognition.

Rachel-Carson-Gymnasium's 'Digital School' award is a testament to the school's commitment to digital education and MINT subjects. The award, valid for three years, will enable the school to continue its work in promoting digital competencies and enhancing the learning experience for its students.
