Park University Sports Department is organizing the 3rd annual "Arrr & Arrr" event on February 20th.

On the 20th of February, 2025, Park University's athletics department is hosting the Arrr & Arrr event at the McCoy Meetin' House, Parkville Campus, from 4 to 6 p.m. This free and open-to-the-public event is a fantastic opportunity for all, especially those interested in supporting women in sport, networking, and professional development.

The event will feature three remarkable women from Park University's community. Brittanie Propes, a 2013 Park graduate and former spirit squad member, currently serves as the director of websites and recreation for the City of Parkville. Nathalia Harth, a graduate assistant in Park's sports communications office and a student pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree in management, is a current member of Park's athletics team. Lindsey Derry, a 2015 Park graduate, is the head coach of the Pirates softball program and the senior woman leader for the University's athletics department.

Each of these women will share their unique experiences and perspectives, offering insights into their journeys within the University's competitive cheer program and athletics team. Brittanie Propes, as the event's director, will discuss her career evolution, while Nathalia Harth will provide a current student's perspective. Lindsey Derry, who transitioned from student-athlete to coach, will speak about her experiences and the importance of using sports to serve others.

Attendees are encouraged to bring cash and/or credit cards to support Park University's athletic programs through raffle and prize drawings. The event will also offer hors d'oeuvres and beverages.
