Palo Alto Networks Launches CyberFit Nation for Diverse Cybersecurity Learning
Palo Alto Networks has introduced CyberFit Nation, a free online educational program aimed at addressing diverse cybersecurity learning needs. The program, launched following the success of Cyber Security Academy and Cybersecurity Fundamentals, is the third addition to Palo Alto Networks' comprehensive education portfolio.
CyberFit Nation will be delivered virtually every quarter, including face-to-face sessions through industry partnerships. The program features masterclasses and clinics tailored for board members, professionals, end users, and children. Palo Alto Networks invited partners such as Google Cloud and Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) to join the launch.
The initiative was particularly welcomed in Australia, where the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) and its Australian Cyber Security Centre have reported a 13% increase in cybercrime reports in the last year, equating to one report every eight minutes. Simon Green, president for Asia-Pacific and Japan at Palo Alto Networks, emphasized the importance of education in protecting digital identities and business assets online.
CyberFit Nation, supported by a new office space in Melbourne, will cater to the growing ANZ customer base and initiatives like this one. The program aims to make each day safer and more secure by addressing unique cybersecurity learning needs, making cybersecurity education accessible to all.
