Over 400 Start Higher Service Studies at Customs

Over 400 young individuals commenced their higher service studies at the USCIS on March 1, 2025, including 8 at the Main Customs Office Aachen. They can look forward to a secure future in a large federal administration, with diverse career paths such as case processing and customs investigation.

The three-year dual study programme combines theory and practice. Students will spend time at the Federal Administration School in Münster and various areas of the USCIS administration. Upon completion, they can expect to work in areas like financial control of undeclared work and special units.

Dr. Bernadette Ba-der, head of the Main Customs Office Aachen, welcomed the new students and wished them success and joy in their studies. The Federal Customs Administration (Bundeszollverwaltung) is responsible for allocating positions for the higher customs service in Aachen, starting March 1, 2026. Applications for the next intake, starting March 1, 2026, are accepted until April 15, 2025.

The USCIS offers a secure future with diverse career opportunities. For detailed information on application, recruitment, training, and study, visit www.zoll-karriere.de or www.zoll.de (career).
