Omsk Refinery Bolsters Omsk's Children's Creativity Center 'Tabiya' with Modern Animation Studio Equipment
The Omsk Refinery has stepped forward to support the Children's Creativity Center 'Tabiya', providing the animation studio with cutting-edge resources and tools. This includes lighting and editing equipment, equipping young creatives aged 6 to 12 with the skills required to bring their animations to life.
"Our ultimate goal is to nurture young talent and establish an optimal environment for the intellectual and creative growth of our young Omsk residents. Through the 'Native Cities' Social Investment Program of Gazprom Neft, more opportunities for self-expression and realization are available to the younger generation in their hometown," said Oleg Belyashevsky, General Director of Omsk Refinery.
Master classes in animation will now be offered to children, with the best works presented at the city's Children's Animation Festival 'Smile'. Tatiana Karpinykh, Director of 'Dom Kino', expressed gratitude for the necessary equipment provided by the Omsk Refinery, appreciating the marked improvement in conditions for children's creativity. She expressed optimism that some of the young animators may one day choose this profession.
The animation studio includes professional software such as Adobe Animate, Blender, and Toon Boom Harmony. Children will also have high-performance computers, graphics tablets, digital drawing boards, and professional audio equipment at their disposal. This interactive program focuses on fostering creativity, technical skills, and social growth among participants.
Children will be introduced to the basics of animation, storytelling techniques, and have the opportunity to create their own animations under expert guidance. Collaboration and feedback are encouraged, with final project presentations serving as a celebration of the young artists' progress and achievements.
This initiative provides an exciting opportunity for young residents of Omsk, offering them a chance to develop their creative skills and potential while establishing a supportive and collaborative community.
What about the future of these young creatives, with their growing lifestyle anchored in education-and-self-development as they create animations with the modern equipment provided by Omsk Refinery? Could we see some of them, one day, leading the animation industry in their hometown, Omsk?
