Network Giant Lightware Joins Forces with NETGEAR for Audio-over-IP Education Initiative

In a move to empower AV professionals and integrators, Lightware and NETGEAR have expanded their partnership. This collaboration aims to provide customers with the necessary knowledge for building and configuring sophisticated AV-over-IP (AVoIP) systems.

The partnership involves integrating their online training platforms, Lightware Academy and NETGEAR Academy. As a result, Lightware's UBEX Level 1-3 courses, including USB-C, room automation, and AVoIP, have been added to the NETGEAR Academy. Similarly, NETGEAR's Level 1 AV-over-IP Certification is now available on Lightware Academy.

Tibor Fejes, head of training at Lightware Academy, believes this partnership is a natural next step. He states, "The integration will allow Lightware's training videos to reach more users, thereby accelerating learning for installers and end-users working with both Lightware and NETGEAR technologies."

The integration offers cross-access to AVoIP certification content and signal management courses. Higher levels of NETGEAR's AV-over-IP Certification will be added to Lightware Academy in the near future.

To further promote this collaboration, a joint webinar is scheduled this autumn to introduce the training integration. Additionally, an upcoming NETGEAR + Lightware Day is planned in Düsseldorf, featuring in-person workshops, guest speakers, and live product demonstrations. The guest speakers for the event have not been publicly announced yet.

Tibor Fejes expresses his excitement about the upcoming event, stating, "The NETGEAR + Lightware Day in Düsseldorf will provide a unique opportunity for our partners and customers to learn, network, and experience the latest advancements in AVoIP technology first-hand."

This training partnership reflects the needs of real-world installations, combining NETGEAR's networking expertise with Lightware's signal management innovations. The partnership will deliver a more comprehensive AVoIP learning experience to existing users of Lightware Academy.

In conclusion, the partnership between Lightware Academy and NETGEAR Academy is set to empower AV professionals and integrators by offering a streamlined learning experience for combined Lightware-NETGEAR systems. Stay tuned for more updates on the joint webinar and the NETGEAR + Lightware Day in Düsseldorf.
