Natalie Suppes: A Successful Digital Marketer Managing Crohn's Disease

Natalie Suppes, the CEO of S&S Creative Media, a thriving social media agency that helps women business owners elevate their online brand presence, is also battling Crohn's disease.

In 2019, Suppes was diagnosed with Crohn's disease after experiencing symptoms such as urgency, pain, and fatigue. Despite this setback, she continued to excel in her corporate sales job and put any side business ventures on hold.

However, her journey took an unexpected turn when she gave birth to her daughter. Postpartum anxiety and sleep troubles were added to her list of challenges. Nevertheless, Suppes' Crohn's symptoms remained in remission throughout her pregnancy.

The remission period didn't last long. In time, her Crohn's symptoms slowly started to return after her daughter's birth. A GI specialist scheduled a colonoscopy due to increased Crohn's symptoms, and the procedure revealed inflammation in various parts of Suppes' colon and large intestine.

Despite these health challenges, Suppes' digital and social media marketing business began to flourish. Her journey was documented and shared on social media, which led friends to ask for her help with their business social media accounts. Suppes took over the accounts, resulting in significant growth.

In less than a year, Suppes went from working a corporate job to owning a successful business with five employees. This rapid growth is a testament to her dedication and skills in digital marketing.

To further her venture, Suppes invested in a social media manager course, costing $1,000. Today, she is the proud CEO of a thriving business, all while managing her Crohn's disease.

Suppes is currently being treated with Entyvio (vedolizumab), but if this treatment does not work, her options for treatment may include surgery or trial medications.

In addition to running her business, Suppes shares her experiences of pursuing success while living with a chronic illness on her podcast, "For the Success." She aims to inspire others facing similar challenges to never give up on their dreams.

Despite the challenges she faces, Suppes remains optimistic and determined. Her story serves as an inspiration to many, demonstrating that it is possible to achieve success while managing a chronic illness.
