In a significant move to boost practical skills and improve vocational education infrastructure in the Khabarovsk region, the federal government is investing funds from the single Far Eastern subsidy. This initiative, under the instruction of Russian President Vladimir Putin, aims to create a skilled workforce adapted to modern technological demands in the Far East [1].

The Khabarovsk Technical School of Transport Technologies is set to benefit from this investment, with the creation of workshops focused on transport and technical systems. Students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of transport technologies, thanks to the installation of stands and models of vehicle nodes and parts, as well as special simulators. Four new workshops - "Air Transport Service", "Occupational Safety", "Railway Track Construction, Maintenance, and Repair", and "Freight Car Construction, Maintenance, and Repair" - will be opened at the school [1].

Similarly, the Komsomolsk-on-Amur College of Technology and Service is utilizing the funds to establish workshops catering to technology and service sectors. From September, three new workshops - "Painting and Decorative Work", "Dry Construction and Plastering Work", and "Carpentry" - will be operational. Additionally, students with disabilities and listeners of professional training programs will have the chance to study in these new workshops [1].

The Komsomolsk-on-Amur Building College, the Amur Polytechnic Technical School, the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Forestry Technical School, and other institutions are awaiting updates as part of this broader strategy to deepen cooperation with technical schools and involve students in practical engineering and technical activities [1].

Last year, 29 workshops were equipped in institutions of secondary professional education thanks to federal funding. This year, 52 training workshops will be equipped in technical schools and colleges of the Khabarovsk region, with 256 million rubles allocated from the federal budget [1]. Modern educational equipment is already helping students acquire new knowledge and hone professional skills in these institutions.

These efforts are part of a larger plan to prepare a workforce that is well-equipped to face the challenges of the modern technological world. By providing students with access to cutting-edge technology and practical training aligned with regional industry needs, these educational institutions are taking a significant step towards shaping the future of technical education in the Far East.
