Microsoft, Adobe Patch 169 Bugs, Including 4 Zero-Days
Microsoft and Adobe have rolled out significant security updates, addressing a total of 169 vulnerabilities, including four zero-days currently exploited in the wild. Apple has also issued a critical update for macOS.
Microsoft's February Patch Tuesday resolved 117 security flaws, two of which are zero-days under active attacks. These include CVE-2024-43572, a code execution bug in the Microsoft Management Console, and CVE-2024-43573, an MSHTML vulnerability exploitable through phishing attacks. The latter affects Internet Explorer and other systems using MSHTML. Microsoft patched software such as Office, Azure, .NET, OpenSSH for Windows, Power BI, Windows Hyper-V, and Visual Studio.
Adobe's February security updates addressed 52 vulnerabilities across various products, including Adobe Substance 3D Painter, Commerce, Dimension, and more.
