John Monash Scholarship Opens Applications for Postgraduate Study Abroad
The John Monash Scholarship Program has opened its applications for postgraduate study at leading international universities. The scholarship, valued at up to $100,000 per year for up to three years, aims to support Australians ready to make a global impact. The deadline for applications is 5pm AEST on 30 June 2025.
The scholarship provides a generous annual stipend of $100,000, an increase from previous years, to help recipients focus fully on their studies abroad. Two new named scholarships have been introduced: the Jane Hansen and Paul Little John Monash Scholarship, and the Sir James McCusker John Monash Scholarship. The value of the scholarships ranges from $100,000 for a one-year Master's degree to $300,000 for a three-year PhD or DPhil. Successful applicants will gain access to the Foundation's Leadership Academy, offering mentorship, leadership development, and career guidance. Since its inception, the John Monash Scholarship has supported 282 scholars across various disciplines.
