Institute HSB selects Professor Archana Shukla, ex-director of IIM Lucknow, as their new appointed leader.
Prof. Archana Shukla, an esteemed academic leader with over three decades of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership, has been appointed as the Director of Hari Shankar Singhania School of Business (HSB) at JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur. Her tenure began on August 1, 2025, succeeding Prof. Gregory Dunn.
A distinguished alumna of IIT Kanpur with a PhD in Psychology, Prof. Shukla has spent her career specializing in organisational behaviour and knowledge management. She has made significant contributions to academia, having served as Director of IIM Lucknow for six years and prior to that, as Dean of the IIM Lucknow Noida Campus for over three years.
In her new role at HSB, Prof. Shukla will lead the flagship two-year UGC-accredited residential MBA program. The program offers specializations in Digital Product Management, Artificial Intelligence and Business Analytics, and Entrepreneurship and Organisational Foresight.
Prof. Shukla's expertise extends beyond academia to designing and delivering management development programs on leadership, strategic thinking, team building, and managerial effectiveness. She has conducted executive programs and consultation on culture building, coaching, mentoring, and assessment centers for major organizations such as KPMG, Mahindra & Mahindra, Samsung, Reckitt Benckiser, Johnson & Johnson, and the GMR Group.
HSB, founded in 2024 on the JKLU campus, is making strides in nurturing leaders who can navigate rapid technological advancements and global disruptions. The school was established in memory of Hari Shankar Singhania, a visionary industrialist and philanthropist. Shri B.H. Singhania, Chancellor of JK Lakshmipat University, warmly welcomed Prof. Shukla's appointment, expressing his confidence that her appointment would advance HSB's mission of blending academic rigor with real-world relevance.
Prof. Shukla expressed her honor to join HSB at its pivotal phase, aligning with the demands of a rapidly evolving global business landscape. She looks forward to working with faculty, students, and industry mentors to elevate HSB's impact internationally.
