Fundraising Event at IDIA Hyderabad: Guiding Students through the Pursuit of a LLM Degree in the United States and United Kingdom
On July 26, 2025, the Hyderabad Chapter of the IDIA initiative is hosting a fundraiser event. This event, taking place from 10AM - 12PM, aims to guide law students through the process of applying for postgraduate legal programs in the USA and UK.
The event will feature two in-depth sessions led by esteemed speakers. Sayan Bhattacharya, an incoming LL.M. candidate at Harvard Law School, will be one of the speakers. He is a recipient of the Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation and KC Mahindra Education Trust Scholarships and has served as a judicial clerk to Chief Justice Sanjiv Khanna.
Another speaker for the event is Dayaar Singla, an incoming BCL candidate at the University of Oxford and the recipient of the Ratanshaw Bomanji Zaiwalla Scholarship. Dayaar Singla graduated from NALSAR University as the "Best All-Round Student" with three gold medals.
Both sessions will focus on the LLM application journey for the USA and UK, followed by interactive Q&A segments where participants can ask direct questions and get tailored advice.
Registration for the event can be done via a Google form. The registration fee for one session is ₹500, and for both sessions it's ₹800. A brochure for the event is available for viewing.
