Events are unfolding within the premises of the Klaraschule
The expansion of the Klaraschule in Dinslaken is progressing as planned, with the first phase of construction commencing on July 30, 2022. The project, aimed at meeting the growing demand for school places in the city, is being overseen by ProZent GmbH and is expected to remain within budget.
The expansion will result in a three-winged elementary school, with the new modular building to house two classrooms. Each classroom will feature a corresponding differentiation area, ensuring ample space for learning and growth. The building, designed to meet modern standards both inside and out, will also include restrooms for the convenience of students and staff.
Despite a slight delay in the delivery of windows, the construction is progressing quickly due to the use of prefabricated modules. The interior spaces and technical equipment will be installed in the coming weeks, with the schoolyard design and ecological rainwater retention system to follow.
Once construction is complete, the Department of Green Spaces and the Department of Infrastructure will work together to design the schoolyard, transforming it into a movement and stay area for students. The schoolyard will serve as a vital outdoor learning space, fostering a connection between students and nature.
The city has reassured the community that the slight delay in the schedule will not affect regular school operations. The new building is expected to be operational about two weeks after the start of the new school year, ensuring a smooth transition for students and staff.
As the expansion of the Klaraschule moves forward, the community looks forward to welcoming the new facilities and the opportunities they will bring for the future of education in Dinslaken.
The expansion of the Klaraschule is not only about school places, but also about education-and-self-development, as the new modular building will house two classrooms, each with a corresponding differentiation area, promoting a conducive learning environment. Furthermore, the schoolyard design, aimed at fostering a connection between students and nature, will serve as an outdoor space for learning and growth, contributing to the well-rounded development of the students.
