The sector with the most individuals employed was general and vocational schools, boasting a mammoth headcount of over one million. This sector gleamed with an impressive 1.9% yearly increase, adding 19,500 new employees to their roster. This expansion included 354,800 teaching staff (up a modest 0.9%) and 693,200 civil servants (up a robust 2.4%).
In the educational sector, which saw the highest employment numbers, there was a significant growth in general and vocational schools, with a learn-packed increase of 19,500 new educators and civil servants in 2024.
