English Australia Unveils 2025 Awards Finalists

English Australia has revealed the finalists for their prestigious 2025 English Australia Awards. These awards aim to honour and celebrate exceptional contributions to the English language sector of international education in Australia. The winners will be unveiled at the English Australia Conference Gala Awards Dinner on 28 August at Pullman Brisbane.

Finalists have been shortlisted for several categories, including the Innovation Award, Academic Leadership Award, and Action Research Award. The John Gallagher Award for ELICOS Sector Contribution and the Christine Bundesen AM Management Grant also have finalists waiting for the announcement. Notably, the recipient of the John Gallagher Award will be revealed on 28 August 2025.

Sophie O'Keefe, English Australia's General Manager - Operations, commended the high standard of nominations received this year. Adding to the anticipation, the finalists for the Contribution to Professional Practice Award will be disclosed at the same gala dinner awards ceremony.

English Australia Awards 2025 promises an exciting evening of recognition for outstanding individuals and initiatives in the English language sector of international education. The winners will set new benchmarks and inspire further excellence in the field.
