Energy System Enhancement, Industrial Efficiency Boost, and Infrastructure Improvement Targeted by New Cohort in Cox Cleantech Accelerator Program
In a bid to enhance energy systems, increase industrial efficiency, and improve infrastructure, the Cox Cleantech Accelerator has announced its second cohort of five startups. This 12-week program, launched in 2024, is a partnership between Cox Enterprises, gener8tor, and the Georgia Cleantech Innovation Hub.
The selected startups are set to make a significant impact, with their innovative solutions addressing various challenges in the cleantech sector.
The Innovative Startups
- FNN - This startup provides real-time lightning detection technology, aiding utilities and wildlife managers in pinpointing ignitions quickly to minimize damage.
- Uptime Analytics - This startup uses AI-driven tools to reduce industrial emissions and energy waste in sectors like water and cement.
- Prezerv - Prezerv offers a 3D AI mapping platform to locate underground utilities, preventing costly construction delays and ensuring safety in urban projects.
- WhyGrene - WhyGrene develops a clean energy management system enabling utilities and microgrids to simulate energy flows and create virtual power plants.
- Stak Mobility - Stak Mobility solves urban parking challenges for electric vehicles by using vertical towers that park and charge EVs at scale, facilitating EV adoption in cities.

Each startup in the accelerator receives a $100,000 investment, mentorship from Cox business leaders, and hands-on support in product development, customer acquisition, and fundraising. This comprehensive support is designed to help these startups thrive and make a meaningful impact in the cleantech industry.
