District Superintendent Proposes New Leadership for Kaycee's School Principal Position

The Johnson County School District #1 (JCSD1) is set to welcome a new leader at the Kaycee K-12 School. Mrs. Elizabeth Fauber, currently a 5 grade teacher at the school, has been recommended by the district's superintendent, Charles Auzqui, to take on the role of principal for the upcoming 2025-26 school year.

The recommendation will be formally presented to the school board at a special meeting scheduled for July 9, 2025. The current principal position at the Kaycee K-12 School has been vacant since Jake Evans was named as the principal of Buffalo High School.

Mrs. Fauber, a highly-qualified and community-invested leader, brings a deep understanding of the school's structure, scheduling, and strong connections to the Kaycee community. Her recommendation comes as no surprise to those familiar with her dedication and commitment to the school and its students.
