The Dhirubhai Ambani University, School of Law, in partnership with the International Law Institute, Washington DC, is set to host an Executive Development Programme (EDP) titled 'Tax Law and Regulatory Strategy for the Boardroom' on August 1-2, 2025, at the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mumbai.
This two-day intensive programme is designed as a high-impact, focused learning opportunity for board-level professionals, senior legal counsel, CFOs, compliance heads, and policy advisors. The curriculum consists of seven thematic sessions covering key areas critical for strategic decision-makers in tax and regulatory matters.
The sessions will delve into strategic tax planning within the boardroom context, litigation risk, evolving enforcement under Goods and Services Tax (GST), Income Tax, Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), and Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). Specific focus sessions will be held on Income Tax and International Tax, Transfer Pricing mechanisms, GST compliance and regulatory challenges, handling Red Corner Notice / Look-out Circular issues, PMLA obligations and compliance & disclosure requirements, and transparency in reporting frameworks.
The programme will feature India's tax and legal experts, including Dr Avinash Dadhich, Robert Sargin, Dinesh Kanabar, Ketan Dalal, and PR Ramesh.
