Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan disclosed that designing the famed wax mask for superhero film Krrish consumed a six-month period, and during filming, a bus air-conditioned particularly was necessary to avert melting of the mask.

The much-anticipated fourth installment in the Krrish franchise, "Krrish 4", is set to begin shooting early next year, as announced by its director and lead actor, Hrithik Roshan.

In an exclusive vlog conversation between Rakesh Roshan and Farah Khan, Rakesh Roshan revealed that Hrithik Roshan will be reprising his role as the titular superhero, and will also be making his directorial debut with the film.

The iconic black Krrish outfit, known for its distinctive look, is said to be quite heavy, according to Rakesh Roshan. The design and creation of this outfit took six months to complete, with various trials on Hrithik Roshan to perfect the look.

The mask worn by Hrithik Roshan as Krrish is a unique piece, made out of wax. This wax mask, however, had a challenge of its own - it would melt after a few hours during the shoot, necessitating frequent replacements. An air-conditioned bus was kept running round the clock to maintain the mask during the shoot.

To maintain the mask during the shoot, an AC bus was kept running round the clock. This ensured that the wax mask remained in its original form, allowing for uninterrupted filming.

Yash Raj Films is producing "Krrish 4" in association with Rakesh Roshan. The exact release date of the film is not yet known, nor are the production rights publicly available.

During their visit, Farah Khan and Rakesh Roshan were also seen enjoying arbi fry, adding a light-hearted moment to the announcement of this highly-anticipated film.

"Krrish 4" is a sequel to the 2006 film, Koi... Mil Gaya, and the third installment in the Krrish franchise. The film promises to bring back the beloved superhero, with Hrithik Roshan's powerful performance and Rakesh Roshan's innovative direction.
