Park University is gearing up for a memorable Homecoming and Family Weekend, set to take place from September 19 to 21 on its Parkville Campus. This year's event promises a variety of activities, including football games, special dinners, concerts, formal dances, and alumni receptions.

Meanwhile, the International Center for Music Concert: Stanislav and Friends is already scheduled for Friday, September 20 at 6:30 p.m. at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, Kansas City, Mo., with ticketed admission of $75 (plus applicable fees).
Academically, Park University continues to excel. Dong Hwa (Donna) Choi, Ph.D., professor of education, authored a chapter titled "Digital Citizenship Education for K-12" for the book, Discovering New Educational Trends (V3). Meanwhile, Park's softball team has been recognised with the inaugural NAIA Conference Commissioners Association Champions of Character Team Award.
The University's esports program has also been in the spotlight, with features on WDAF-TV and KSHB-TV, discussing the growing popularity of esports at colleges and universities.
Park University's Department of Athletics was recently recognised as a Champions of Character Five-Star NAIA institution at the gold level for the fourth time in the past five years. This recognition underscores the University's commitment to fostering academic integrity, respect, and sportsmanship among its student-athletes.

ECCO Select, led by Jeanette Prenger, '09, has been recognised as one of the top businesses in Kansas City. The company was ranked No. 14 on the Kansas City Business Journal's list of "Top Area Women-Owned Businesses" and No. 7 in the list of "Top Area Minority-Owned Businesses" based on 2018 revenue.
Five Park alumni will be honoured at the Park University Alumni Association Awards Program: Robert, '04, and Brenda Dandridge, '07, Carolyn McHenry Elwess, '71, Marcus Gladdis, MBA '11, MHA '18, and Lillian Madeje, '10.
The Park University Alumni Association Awards Program will take place on Thursday, September 19 at 6 p.m. with ticketed admission of $10 per person.
The "Park Stories" initiative will also be showcasing fun and inspiring features highlighting Park University students, faculty, staff, and alumni throughout the weekend.
