Park University has been making waves in various fields, from academics to arts, and community involvement. Here's a rundown of some of the university's latest achievements and upcoming events.
In the realm of academics, Park University's online Associate in Computer Science and Bachelor's degrees in Public Administration, Internet Marketing, and Logistics have been recognised, ranking among the best in the country. The university's Bachelor's in Public Administration was placed at No. 8, while the online Associate in Computer Science and Bachelor's in Internet Marketing secured the No. 6 and No. 7 spots, respectively. The online Bachelor's in Logistics Degree Programs was ranked No. 4.
The university's athletic teams have also been making strides. The women's volleyball teams from both the Parkville and Gilbert campuses concluded successful seasons at the NAIA National Championships. Malaina Hensley, a senior outside hitter from the Parkville Campus, was named a first team All-American and the NAIA-AVCA Midwest Region Player of the Year.
Park University's athletic success extends to the men's soccer team, with a story about Jakib Jones, a former member of the Parkville Campus team, being published in the Platte County Citizen.
In the artistic sphere, the International Center for Music (ICM) at Park University has announced a series of concerts. The ICM String Studios concert will be held on January 19, featuring Violinist Ben Sayevich and Pianist Lolita Lisovskaya-Sayevich on February 9, and the ICM Orchestra on February 17.
The university's art offerings also include an exhibit of photography by William Eickhorst, a former adjunct instructor of fine/visual art at Park University, which will be featured in the Campanella Gallery from January 9 to February 24.
Park University has also been recognised for its strategic communications efforts. The university's Office of Strategic Communications was named the 2022 PR Team of the Year by the Greater Kansas City Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.

In community involvement, Park University appointee Benny Lee was appointed to the Board of Trustees to serve a term through June 30, 2025. Staci Balcaen, adjunct instructor of communication arts, and Josey Jenkins, director of Park University's F.E. Warren Air Force Base (Wyo.) Campus, were both named to the Wyoming Business Report's "30 Under 40" list.
Lastly, Colton Peavler, a Park University student pursuing a Master of Healthcare Administration degree, was recognised as part of the University's Salute to Scholars program.
