Commencement Ceremony Takes Place at IPS Academy, Honoring 746 Diplomas to Graduates
IPS Academy Graduation Ceremony 2025 Celebrates Student Success and Institutional Progress
The IPS Academy Graduation Ceremony 2025 was a grand event held in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India, to celebrate the achievements of 746 graduating students across various departments. The ceremony, led by Prof. Rajiv Tripathi, Vice-Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal, was a significant occasion that underscored institutional rank improvement and student success.
The event began with a student procession, followed by an academic procession that included Prof. Rajiv Tripathi, along with other dignitaries such as Prof. Mohan Sen (Registrar of RGPV), Governing Body Chairman Architect Achal K. Choudhary, Vice-Chairman Yogendra Kumar Jain, and Principal Dr. Archana Kirti Choudhary.
Principal Dr. Archana Kirti Choudhary presented the institute's performance, highlighting its expanded academic offerings. The institute now offers 13 undergraduate and 8 postgraduate programs on the main campus, 4 undergraduate programs at the off-campus center in Vijay Nagar, and specialized courses for working professionals.
Academic excellence was a major highlight of the ceremony. A total of 261 students received academic awards, and individual awards were given to students who excelled in their respective fields. Ms. Priyanka Lilhare received the IGS Gold Medal for securing the highest marks in Geotechnical Engineering, and Civil Engineering student Ms. Yashu Yadav received the Gold Medal for achieving a CGPA of 9.89. Mechanical Engineering student Mr. Mohammad Noorulain was awarded the Dr. A.N. Patel Gold Medal.
Branch toppers from Computer Science, IT, IoT, Data Science, AI-ML, EC, EEE, Fire Technology, and Mechanical Engineering were also felicitated. The institute's BAJA team won the Overall Winner Award in Autonomous BAJA 2024 and secured AIR 1 in Physical Dynamic and Remote Driving System.
In addition, the institute's students demonstrated their prowess in the Smart India Hackathon 2024 organized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Five teams from the institute participated and won first prizes in Mohali and Bengaluru, along with a cash award of ₹1 lakh each.
The ceremony concluded with speeches by top graduates Ovanshi Rathore, Oshi Sharma, and Anisha Khawse, who expressed gratitude to the institute and faculty. They described the day as one of the proudest moments of their lives.
Graduation Day messages emphasized that graduation marks the beginning of lifelong learning and encouraged students to carry forward the institute’s values of curiosity and dedication to engineering and knowledge. Prof. Mohan Sen stressed the importance of charity, environmental conservation, and community service, while Governing Body Chairman, Architect Achal K. Choudhary, extended best wishes to the graduates, emphasizing that success comes through consistent effort and dedication. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. (Col.) Dinesh Kumar from the Electronics and Communication Department.
The ceremony was a testament to the institute's academic excellence and growing stature, as reflected in its climb to 27th rank nationally in the Times Engineering Survey 2025, 25th among private engineering institutions, and 6th in the Western Zone. Vice-Chairman Mr. Yogendra Kumar Jain wished the students a bright future, expressing confidence in their ability to make a significant impact in their chosen fields.
