Regional Government Prepares Summer Employment Plan for Minors in Komi Republic
Deputy Prime Minister Ekaterina Grubkova has announced that the Komi Republic's administration is closely monitoring the employment of minors this summer. The disclosure was made during a meeting led by Acting Head Rostislav Goldstein at the Administration of the Head of the Republic of Komi.
According to Grubkova, the Ministry of Labor has set planned indicators for the employment of minors, with 9,151 people expected to be employed this year. The regional government aims to surpass this target, as it finished second in the North-West region and 12th among Russian subjects in terms of minor employment last year.
Remuneration for minors includes wages that are not less than the minimum wage, dependent on the hours worked. Additionally, if minors are employed through employment centers, they may also receive material support, which has been doubled and is disbursed based on the hours worked and the territory of the republic.
Preparations are also underway for the summer health campaign in the Komi Republic. This week, a final inspection of stationary camps will take place, and an interdepartmental commission will convene on May 29 to review the results and assess readiness for the commencement of the health campaign, which starts on June 2.
