Florence Christian Church Hosts Yard Sale to Support School Supply Drive
The community of Boone County is invited to come together and support the annual School Supply Drive by participating in a church-wide Yard Sale on July 28. The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 300 Main Street, Florence.
This Yard Sale is an opportunity for people to clean out items they've been meaning to get rid of, while benefiting the community and the School Supply Drive. Any leftover items from the Yard Sale will be donated to Florence Christian Church's Shower Ministry or other nonprofit organizations in the area.
The School Supply Drive specifically focuses on supporting students in Boone County who may not have the resources to shop for new supplies before the school year begins. This year, over 9000 students who qualified for free & reduced lunch are targeted by the drive.
