The Verkehrsgesellschaft Osnabrück (VOS) has announced several adjustments to its bus services, effective from August 5, 2019. These changes, part of a broader timetable update, aim to improve connectivity and punctuality across the city and district of Osnabrück.

Starting from early February, additional evening and weekend services have been added to lines 640 and 650 in the VOS North. The timetables and information for these changes can be found on the VOS website (www.vos.info) and in the VOSpilot mobility app. Similarly, an additional service has been introduced on line 680 between Lappenstuhl and Engter in the VOS North.

In the VOS North-East, line X276 will now offer more Sunday services, and this action is happening parallel to the timetable change in VOS. The aim is to improve transfer connections at central stops and enhance the overall service.

However, the existing closure and detour in the municipality of Hasbergen in the VOS South remains in effect until further notice. Morning services on lines 462 and 463 in the VOS South continue to run from Monday to Friday to serve the Franziskus Hospital and Georgsmarienhütte GmbH.

The First-Grader Parent Accompaniment Action is starting, allowing parents to accompany their children to and from school for free during the first school week. This action is for first-graders from all primary schools in the city and district of Osnabrück.
