Almaty Employment Center Aims to Place 20,000 in Jobs in 2021
In 2020, the Almaty Employment Center successfully placed 34,855 people in jobs, with 10,958 finding employment through the 'Roadmap for Employment 2020' program. Looking ahead, the main goal for 2021 is to prevent unemployment from rising and maximize support for job seekers.
Last year, the center sent 1005 people to professional courses in 21 high-demand fields. The program is implemented in three main directions, with a focus on IT specialties due to growing demand in the job market.
In 2020, the 'Eńbek' program provided 1705 state grants and 154 microloans to support business ideas. The program aims to expand access to active employment forms and is set to continue until 2021.
