Aggnite 5.0: National Ideation Competition Launched for Agri Innovators

ICAR-NAARM, in collaboration with NABARD and a-IDEA, has launched Aggnite 5.0, a national online ideation competition for students and innovators in agriculture and allied sectors. The competition offers cash prizes, mentoring support, and networking opportunities.

Aggnite 5.0 is open to students pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, or PhD degrees in agriculture or allied sectors, aged between 17 to 28 years. It also welcomes start-ups, companies, research institutions, and innovators with ideas in agricultural technology. Participants must have an innovative idea capable of addressing key challenges in agriculture and allied industries, and that can be developed into a successful startup.

The competition provides mentoring support, collaboration opportunities, access to a network of experts, and participation certificates for all participants. The top three ideas will receive cash prizes: Rs 25,000 for first prize, Rs 15,000 for second prize, and Rs 10,000 for third prize.

The last date to apply for Aggnite 5.0 is 25th April 2025. Applications can be submitted online at http://bit.ly/3XVDKLm or by scanning the QR code on the official poster. For further information or assistance, applicants can contact Dr. Subin Thomas at [email protected] or +91 8921418297.
