Academy of Law Enforcement Revamps AI-Focused Curriculum
The Khan Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies is set to revamp its educational programs, focusing on artificial intelligence, under the directive of General Prosecutor Berik Asylov. The aim is to train prosecutors and law enforcement personnel capable of effectively combating cybercrime and modern challenges. The new leadership, headed by Rector Nurgalym Majitovich Abdirov, is also committed to fostering personal qualities like discipline and loyalty in cadets.
Abdirov, a state counselor of justice of the 3rd class and PhD, is leading the modernization efforts. The Academy plans to strengthen the applied nature of its scientific research and aims for international recognition of its publications. To achieve this, the Institute for Security Authority Training is cooperating with foreign institutions and contributing to federal government expert commissions. While specific foreign partners for AI training modernization are not mentioned, the collaboration involves national-level research and expertise sharing.
The Academy is poised to become a leading institution in AI-driven cybercrime combat and law enforcement training. Under Abdirov's leadership, it is not only updating its curriculum but also fostering strong personal qualities in its cadets, ensuring a well-rounded and effective future workforce.
